Tyler is looking for a girlfriend entry

Last minute-finished entry for ~Shizara's contest:

"Tehl looked at herself in the mirror one more time, nervous and excited at the same time. She though with herself: "Gosh, that's enough makeup. He shall find me pretty the way I am, no need to scribble my whole face in colours." She knew that dating her brother's friends could be awkward, but she wasn't the kind who gives up easily.

Tehl grabbed her purse and started to walk silently up the stairs of her underground village. "I better not to arrive late... I would call him right now if this damn phone would work down here". When she finally arrived on the surface, she texted "Hey Tyler, I should be at the Caffé in 20 minutes". While she walked down the streets, she noticed several mansters looking her way. "Damn chasers! If I made an effort to look good it's because someone is waiting for me." Soon Tyler texted back: "No worries, I will probably going to be a little late, traffic is horribly slow".

The Crow Caffé was a little less crowded than it usually was. "Less monsters to look at us". The mâitre looked at her with a smile and asked:

Mâitre: - "Good afternoon, sweet ghoul. Would you like a table for one?"
Tehl: - "For two, please. I am waiting for a date. He is... a handsome T-rex boy. I would prefer a table in the balcony, if possible.".
Mâitre:- "Alright. Come with me please"

The mâitre showed Tehl a nice table on the balcony, next to the front door. Almost immediately, Tyler showed up.

Tyler: - Good afternoon. I am looking for a pretty ghoul with a really long black hair. Is she here yet?
Mâitre: - You mean that one? - Tehl waved her hand and smiled.
Tyler: - That's her! Thank you.

Tyler walked in Tehl's direction and greeted her. Tehl smiled.

Tyler: - Have you been waiting for long?
Tehl: - No, I actually just arrived.
Tehl: - Are you hungry?
Tyler: - I definitely am. What do you suggest?
Tehl: - Do you like boiled eggs?
Tyler: - Sure! Gotta love them.
Tehl: - The ones they serve here are just perfect, I was about to order one.

Tyler called the waiter.

Tyler: - Hello, I would like to order three boiled eggs. How many do you want, Tehl?
Tehl: - One is fine.

Waiter: - Would you like something to drink?

Tehl: - Nothing for the moment, thanks.

Tyler and Tehl looked at each other.

Tyler: - So.... how was your day?
Tehl: - A little awkward...
Tyler: - Why?
Tehl: - Honestly, I was kinda worried if Saliah had told you anything bad about me.
Tyler: - Never. I believe he admires you.
Tehl: - That's good to hear. What about your day?
Tyler: - Well, I'm not gonna lie, I was excited to go out with you.

Tehl blushed slightly. Damn, that blue blushing.

Tehl: - And.. why is that?
Tyler: - Oh, come on ghoul. You're pretty, you're smart, I am always hangin out with your brother... but let's not talk about him.

Waiter: - Here are your eggs..

The waiter served three eggs for Tyler and one for Tehl, as ordered, and seasoned them at the table with just a pinch of smoked pepper.

Waiter: - Bon appétit!

Tehl: - So... do you have a hobby?
Tyler: - I play drums.
Tehl: - Really? I always wanted to play some musical instrument, but I only seem to have a hand for art weapons.
Tyler: - Art weapons?
Tehl: - Yeah, my kind is quite famous for combat techniques. I shoot with a longbow...

The conversation whent further and both were starting to show their mutual interest. The inviting balcony, the sunset beautifully colored, the delicious eggs... nothing seemed to go wrong. Tehl was unsure about what she exactly was feeling, but her mood has never been better..."
